Shirley Ann Lobstein, 75, of Barstow, passed away on October 3, 2021 in Pecos, Texas surrounded by family.

Shirley was born in Lampassas, Texas to Jess and Jessie Wagner on August 30, 1946. She graduated from Ozona High School in 1964. She married Roy on February 15, 1964 in Ciuadad Acuna, Mexico.

Shirley had several jobs as a Bookkeeper, She retired from Napa Auto Parts in 2018.

Shirley was more importantly a loving wife, homemaker and mother, and she excelled at all of these, from making clothes for her girls, one glorious shirt for Roy, to feeding hungry cowboys. She was Roy’s right hand in many endeavors, from trapping and ranching, to earing down a bronc for Roy to step on or shoe. She enjoyed collecting coal oil lamps, ceramic figurines and any kind of a chicken, whether it be on a plate, bowl or a yard ornament. She had a love for many many things, she loved all animals, and had lots of unique pets, including a pet raccoon, pet goose and lots of doggied lambs, To Roy’s delight her and the girls raised a doggie calf that was in the way any time Roy was working cattle. Shirley had a green thumb that she got from her mother, she enjoyed growing any kind of plants. She enjoyed fishing with Roy and loved a little competition, whether it was the size of the fish or a game of cards or Dominoes. Most of all she loved her family and friends, she loved with all of her heart and is widely known as a sweet, sincere loving and a beautiful soul. Shirley had a passion for her family, and supported all the sports, activities and anything that the kids and grandchildren loved, if they loved it, so did she, and loved getting to watch them.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Jess and Jessie and her brother JB Wallace.

Shirley is survived by her husband Roy of 57 years. Daughters Tammie Walker and husband Clay of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Peggy Buchanan and husband Rocky of Springfield, Virginia, Laura Lobstein of Pecos, Texas. Brother Owen Wagner of Odessa, Texas. Grandchildren Brittany Kington, James Buchanan, John Buchanan, Alex Lobstein, Christian Hillemeyer, Faith Adams Emmy Walker, Dustin Walker, Kortney Walker. Great

grandchildren Payton Kington, Case Kington, and Wylie Kington. And Numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jerald Lobstein, Rocky Buchanan, Tyler Kington, James Buchanan, Clay Walker, and Dustin Walker.

Graveside services will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Ozona at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 8, 2021 with Clay Wallace of Dallas Metro officiating. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to St Jude’s Organization, Dallas Metro, Dallas, Texas, and The Alzheimer’s Association.
