Manuel Valles

Manuel Valles, 98 years old, of Pecos, TX. passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 in Pecos, TX peacefully with family by his side. Manuel was born December 10, 1923 in Knox City, TX to Jesus and Maria (Mata) Valles. He was married to the love of his life for 77 years, Amelia Valles. They were married on November 7, 1943 in Pecos, TX. He worked for a well service company for years before he retired. After retirement he began mowing yards for many years to follow. He was an amazing husband, Father and Grandfather. He enjoyed to spend time with his family. he was a quiet but strong, humble, non-judgemental man of faith, loving husband, Father, and Tata.

Manuel is preceded in death by his loving wife Amelia Valles in 2021, parent; Jesus and Maria Valles, Brother; Carlos Mata, Son; Eloy Valles, Grandson; Gilbert Moreno, Great Great Grandson; Jonathan Moreno.

Manuel is survived by his children; Gloria Lara ( Henry Lara (dec) of Abilene, Gilbert Valles (Mary Ann (dec) of Abilene, Elida Ybarra (Pedro Ybarra) of Pecos, Manuel Valles Jr. (Ramona Valles of Odessa, Betsy Fuentez (Dora Fuentez (Dario Fuentez) of Midland, one sister Celia Segovia of Wylie, 21 Grandchildren, 46 Great Grandchildren, 43 Great Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearer will be; Cipriano Moreno, Brandon Armendariz, Josepha Nunez, Roger Dominguez, Rene Lara and Randy Lara.

Honorary Pallbearer are; Eloy Valles Jr., Manuel Valles III.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 9pm with Rosary at 7 pm at Pecos Funeral Home on 607 W. 3rd. St. in Pecos, Texas.

A Christian Mass will be on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 10 am at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church with Interment following at Greenwood Cemetery, Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
