I Anita Rutledge Tucker Moody, would like to let you know that my work here is done. I received a call, sort of an offer you can't refuse, for an appointment from which I will not be returning. This new situation comes with a huge sign-on bonus, and a reunion with family and friends I have not seen in a while. Other conveniences are my cancer will be cured, I will no longer bother about dieting, nor worry about my cholesterol.

One of the few advantages of dying from Stage IV Adenocarcinoma Of Sigmoid Colon that metastasized to the lung, is that I have had time to write my own obituary. As you know I was always a very opinionated person. I may know nothing about the subject but that never kept me from voicing my opinion. I never watched the View, and had zero working knowledge of the Kardashians. But that didn't stop me from enjoying many, many things. Among those were ABBA, Bed Bath & Beyond, The HGTV Channel, Mark Lowry, discussing who were the best singers in the Gaither Vocal Band, and above all, my family. Since this is my obituary I would like to let you know a little about my life. To wit:

I was born in Brownwood, Texas on October 24, 1947 to Howard G. Rutledge Sr. and his wife Billie Ruth Barton. I was a lifelong mover, starting with my parents moving from Brownwood to Tunnel City, Wisconsin so my dad could be in the Army, for the second time. My mother, my brother, Glenn, and I moved back to Texas so my brother Victor could be born a Texan. After Victor finally arrived, Dad came home and we started moving. We lived in Sierra Blanca, Longview, Rumley, Moline, Gordon, back to Longview, Robstown, Riesel, Balmorhea; and then I moved away from home and moved to Rumley.

While living in Rumley I met and married Kenneth L. Tucker. He had two precious little boys, Kenneth Dwayne and Marty Lee. A year and a half later I gave the boys a sister, Regina Marie, and later added two more brothers Robert Louis and Randle Glenn.

In my professional life, I couldn't decide what I wanted to be when I grew up. I worked as a secretary, a bookkeeper, a nurse's aide and even a long haul truck driver. But couldn't find my happy spot. Several friends kept asking when was I going to be a teacher. My answer was never! And God laughed! In 2012, because of health reasons, I retired after 28 years in the field of education . I worked with Special Children and loved almost every minute. Well there were a few seconds in there that were a little much! But over all I'd do it again tomorrow.

After deciding to enter the education field, and moving a few more times, I also decided to marry John Roger Moody. We celebrated 23 years of marriage in January of 20 I 9. I was blessed to not only marry him but to inherit his daughter Patricia Moody-Harveson and family and his son Dan Moody and family. I also got his sister Reita (Pete) Bates and his brothers Kinley (Elaine) and Jack (Marilyn) with their families out of the deal.

While you are reading or hearing all of this, I am visiting with my Saviour Jesus Christ, as well as my husband John Roger Moody, my precious daughter, Regina Tucker Perryman, her brothers, Kenneth Dwayne and Marty Lee Tucker and their dad Ken Tucker. We are joined with my parents Howard and Christine Rutledge and Robert and Billie Ruth Clarkston as well as my siblings H. Glenn Rutledge Jr., John Edward Rutledge, and Barbara and husband Jerry Smith. Please keep in prayer,.my sons Robert and Randy Tucker and their wives Tina and Angie, along with my 15

grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, my children from another mother Dan Moody (Tanya), Patricia Harveson (Louis), Juanita Clifford, Felicia Winters, and Jeff Larkin. Also please keep in prayer my brothers Victor (Annette) and Carl (Sheila) Rutledge, Robert and R.L. Clarkston, Israel (Mary), Andy and Ephraim Ortega, my sisters Linda (Ray) Brown, Birdie (Jesse) Nino and Naomi Ortega and my cousins Earline Tomme, Sue Minnick, and Susan Haynes as well as all their families, as I am sure it will be some time before we are reunited.
