Obituary

Quentin Cole “Coley” Armstrong, Jr., 66, of Pecos, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 in Odessa, Texas. Coley was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Cole and Mavis Armstrong on November 13, 1956. He went to school at Pecos High School. Coley spent many years living and working on the WT Ranch and enjoying the sunshine on fast boats. He loved animals, classic rock, and lively conversations.

 

Coley is preceded in death by his parents, Cole & Mavis Armstrong, former wife Misti Wright, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Coley is survived by his children Quentin Cole Armstrong III of Pecos, Taylor [Colton] Jenkins of Odessa, siblings Amanda [William] Kington of Pecos, Jan [Joe] Ranaldi of Saint Petersburg, Florida, Pam [Mark] Smith of Richmond, Kentucky, Angie [Shawn] Rosanbalm of Richmond Kentucky, Andee [Scott] Bowman of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Paul Armstrong of San Angelo, step mother Bana Armstrong of Pecos, grandson Graham Jenkins of Odessa, former wife Dora Worsham of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and cousin Bryan Payne of Lake Charles, Texas and many friends and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be David Armstrong, Scott Armstrong, Colton Jenkins, Will Kington, Bryan Payne and Frank Granada.

Visitation will be held 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, with a designated family and friends time of 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 16 at the Pecos Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be he held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 17 at the First Christian Church / United Methodist Church at 423 S. Elm St.  officiated by Jim Goodwin. Burial will follow at the Mount Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends are invited for a meal afterwards at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
