Mike Polanco

Mike M. Polanco, 79 , of Pecos, passed away on December 5, 2020 in Pecos, Texas. Mike was born in Odessa, Tx., to Lee and Juanita (Montelongo) Polanco on January 17, 1941.

He went to school in Big Spring, Tx. He married Seferina Tarango in Pecos, T. He worked as a seismographer for Arco where he retired. He enjoyed listening to his blues.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Lee and Juanita M. Polanco, and grandson River Tarango.

Mike is survived by his wife Seferina T. Polanco, and children Sylvia Abila (Sergio Legarda), Felix (Terra) Tarango, Florence Polanco (Tommy Orona) and Juanita (Armando) Gonzalez, grandchildren Niomi (Rudy) DeAnda, Junior (Kimberly) Abila, Michael (Jessica) Abila, Rain Tarango, Jade Tarango, Elyzabeth Orona, Faith Ramirez, Analiz Gonzalez, Jorge Gonzalez, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Honary Pallbearers will be Junior Abila, Michael Abila, Rudy DeAnda, Nathan DeAnda, Elyzabeth Orona.

Visitation will be at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel from 9am. to 4pm. on Wednesday, December 16 and Thursday December 17, 2020.

Celebration of Life will be held at Pecos Funeral Home at 2pm. Friday December 18, 2020 with Pastor David Sandoval officiating.

Arrangements are made by Pecos/Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.
