Margie Gonzales

Margie C. Gonzales, 63, of Barstow Texas, passed away January 4th, 2021 in Odessa Texas.

Margie C. Gonzales was born Pecos, Texas to Catarino Sr. and Virginia O. Carrasco on July 20th, 1957. She went to school in Pecos, Texas. She married Ricardo G. Gonzales on August 25th, 1979 in Pecos, Texas. She attended school in Pecos, Texas. She worked in Barstow, Texas for Ward County as a librarian until her retirement. She loved the sport of bowling and won numerous awards and pins. Margie loved her family and was a friend to many. She was kind, generous, and selfless.

Margie C. Gonzales is preceded in death by her parents, Catarino Sr. and Virginia Carrasco.

Margie is survived by her husband, Ricardo G. Gonzales, her children Rudy DeAnda and his wife Niomi DeAnda, Ricardo Gonzales Jr. and Ashley L. Swinney, Danny Gonzales, and Danielle Gonzales. Her grandchildren Rudy DeAnda Jr, Nathan DeAnda, Adrian Hurtado, Avery Hurtado, Journie Gonzales, and Eva Marie Gonzales and her great grandchildren, Jayden and Raina DeAnda. Brothers; Benito Carrasco of Odessa, Texas, Catarino Carrasco Jr. and Sister; Mary Lopez, of Pecos, Texas, Elfida Morales of Ft. Stockton, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Rudy DeAnda Jr, Nathan DeAnda, Hector Carrasco, Alfredo Lira, Matthew Florez, and Javier Morales.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 6, 2021, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Thursday, January 7, 2021 9 am to 4 pm., with a Rosary at 2 pm. at the Pecos Funeral Home Chapel,Graveside service will be on Friday, January 8th at 2:00 PM at the Barstow Cemetery.

DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDAMIC ONLY 25 IMMEDIATE PERSONS ARE PERMITTED AT THE FUNERAL HOME, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING IS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES. AT THE GRAVESIDE SERVICE FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE WELCOME AND ALSO MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING IS REQUIERED.
