Jessie Rayos

Jessie Rayos, 71, of Pecos, Texas passed away on Wednesday November 23, 2022, in Pecos, Texas at his home Jessie was born on January 1st, 1951, to Esteban and Rufina Rayos. Jessie Rayos worked at Freeport for 26 Years and then proceeded to work at Anchor Jessie received his high school diploma from the Stratford Career institute and later went on to work at RCDC where he retired in 2016. Jessie was an avid coach. He started coaching his children in little league baseball in the 70’s where he later went on to coach his grandchildren.

Jessie is preceded in death by his parents Esteban and Rufina Rayos his brothers Liborio Natividad and Merce Rayos and his grandson Jacob Rayos.

Jessie is survived by his brothers Mickey Rayos, Lupe of Odessa, TX Esteban (Steve) Rayos, Lena of Kyle, TX and David Rayos of Round Rock, TX as well as his children Jessie Joel Rayos, Eliser of Carlsbad, NM Rene Rayos, Diana of Pecos, TX Debra Chacon, Jesse of Pecos, TX and Julian Rayos, Angela of Pecos, TX as well as 27 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Isaiah Rayos, Aaron Rayos, Nathaniel Rayos, Zachary Rayos, Christopher Rayos Nick Rayos and Ray Gonzales

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 10:00am to 9:00pm. A Memorial Service will be officiated by his grandson Pastor Jessie Joel Rayos at the Pecos Funeral Home Wednesday, November 30 at 7:00pm. Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 1st 2022, 2:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Santa Rosa Cemetery
