Obituary

Georgia Mendoza, 91, of Pecos, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, on January 25, 2021 in Pecos.

Georgia was born in Balmorhea, Texas to Juan and Reyes (Grado) Espinosa on October 2, 1929.  

She is preceded in death by her parents; Juan and Reyes Espinosa, husband; Marcos C. Mendoza Sr., daughter; Velma Collaso, and sons; Alonzo Mendoza and Benjamin Mendoza.  

Georgia is survived by her children; Teresa Talamantes, Mary Lou Salcido, Marcos (Connie) Mendoza Jr., Porfirio (Elsie) Mendoza, Fidel (Margie) Mendoza, Irma Gutierrez, Diana (L.G.) Crawford, Robert Mendoza, 22 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home, 114 W. 4th Street, Pecos, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 29, 2021 at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos/Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home.

Due to the COVID19 Pandemic and Outbreak all services are limited to immediate family only up to 50 persons.
