Ernest Fuentez

Ernest A. Fuentez 57 years of age from Pecos, Tx passed away on January 6, 2022. Ernest was born in Pecos, Tx to Ursulo & Aurora Fuentez on March 2, 1964. He went to school in Pecos, Tx. Ernest married Mary (Lisa) Fuentez on February 16, 1984. He graduated from Pecos High School. He worked as a tech helper for Tx DOT for 15 years. Ernest enjoyed helping those in our community. In his free time he enjoyed playing golf, BBQing, fishing and watching some Washington Football.

Ernest is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Antonio M. Armendariz & Feliz H. Armendariz, his Paternal Grandparents Ursulo De La Rosa Fuentez & Lucia Lopez Fuentez, his nephew Zachary Fuentez.

Those left to cherish Ernest’s memory are his wife, Mary (Lisa) Fuentez, his son Eric (Denisse) Fuentez of Pecos, Tx. His daughter Alexandra Fuentez (Leonard) of Pecos, Tx and second daughter Angelica Fuentez (Vincent) of Pecos, Tx. His sister Maribel (Rene) Guerra, three brothers Steve Fuentez (Lynda), Larry (Syndi) Fuentez, Martin (Ines) Fuentez. His parents Ursulo & Aurora Fuentez. His six Grandchildren, Zayn Fuentez, Timothy Gurule, Antonio Gurule, Cresencio Machuca, Uriah Gurule, & Ethan Fuentez, along with all his God children. Lastly his Dog, Dodger.

Pallbearers will be: Juan Prieto Jr., Israel Prieto, Jason Guerra, Larry Fuentez, Jr., Abel Salazar, Justo Dominguez, Jonathan Dominquez, Tommy Aguilar, Juan Fuentez, Tony Aguilar, Arturo Herrera, & Martin Fuentez, Jr.

Viewing will be at 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Pecos Funeral Home. Rosary will start at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Pecos Funeral Home. Mask are required at the Funeral Home and Church.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday January 12, 2022 at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Pecos, Tx. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.

The Fuentez family wishes to extend out sincere thanks to Dr. Martinez of Lubbock, Tx along with the staff of Reeves County Hospital, Home Health, all those who sent Prayers, donations, support, food, & Love. May God bless you all.
