Daniel Paz

Daniel Paz 61 of Pecos passed away Thursday August 13, 2020 at his daughter’s residence in Odessa. He was born June 11, 1959 to Francisco and Cristina Estrada Paz in Brownfield, Tx. Daniel married Presciliana Rodriguez November 8, 1985 in Wink, Tx they were married for 32 years until her passing March 13, 2017.  Daniel was an avid 49ers fan, he liked doing construction work, was considered a handyman and after his work he liked drinking his favorite beverage Coors light beer. He loved listening to the tunes of Marco Antonio Solis and other styles of music while he cruised the streets of Pecos, loved cooking Mexican food asado, chile verde con carne and many other foods, but most of all he loved his wife, children, and grandchildren very much. Dad you will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his mother, wife Presciliana Paz, sister Mary Helen Chaidez and brother Joe Garza

He is survived by his father Francisco ‘Frank’ Paz of Avondale, AZ, daughters Belen Paz and husband Thomas of Odessa, and Cristina Paz of Pecos, sons Hector Garcia and wife Monique of Odessa, and Saul Garcia of Pecos, sisters Lisa Paz of Maine, NY Eva Petty of Clyde, TX Cristina Bustos and husband Michael, Gloria Paz, and Violet Paz all of Avondale, AZ,  brother Fred Paz and wife Estella of Odessa.

Mr. Paz also leaves to cherish his memory 5 grandchildren Nariah, Amry, Jasiah, Braden, Easton, Isaiah,Marco and nieces, and nephews.

DUE to Covid-19 Visitation is set for only 40 persons Thursday August 20. 2020 from 9am-4pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Social distancing guidelines apply, and masks are always required.

Graveside services are set for10am Friday August 21, 2020 at Mount Evergreen cemetery with Father Jose Dela Cruz officiating.

Social distancing is requested and, masks are requested at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Hector Garcia, Saul Garcia, Braden Garcia, Thomas Paz, Alfredo Paz, and Aaron Rico
