Amalia Ortega

Amalia Ortega, 69, of Pecos, passed away on April 22, 2021 in Odessa Texas.

Amalia was born in Cuchillo Parado, Chihuahua, Mexico to Octavio and María Socorro de Dominguez on July 10, 1957. She married Manuel Ortega on February 26, 1966 in Coyame, Chihuahua. Amalia was a dedicated and loving mother & wife throughout her life.

Amalia is preceded in death by her husband; Manuel Ortega, father; Octavio Dominguez and brother; Raymundo Dominguez.

Amalia is survived by her son; Basilio Ortega, brothers and sisters; Teodoro Dominguez, Lorenzo Dominguez, Juan Dominguez, Epifanio Dominguez, Manuela Lopez and Octavio Dominguez Jr., her mother; María Socorro Corrales de Dominguez, grandchildren; Julian Ortega, Briana Ortega, Ariana Ortega and Yuliana Ortega, and numerous nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Amalia will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Santa Rosa Catholic Church, visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 with a rosary at 6:30 P.M. at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow Mass at Greenwood Cemetery.
