Augustine Garcia Natividad Sr. 68, of Pecos, Texas passed away on April 6, 2020 in his home where he was surrounded by family. Augustine Garcia Natividad Sr. was born in Pecos, Texas to Marcelino Rede and Rita Garcia Natividad on March 22, 1952. He attended Pecos High. He married Laura M. Natividad on May 22, 1973 at the Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church in Pecos, Tx. He worked at Duval Corp. for 20 years, The Town of Pecos City for 10 years, and Reeves County Hospital for 4 years.

Augustine G. Natividad is also a Veteran of the United States Air force as a Jet Engine Mechanic serving 6 years. When working for the Town of Pecos City he received two awards, in 2010 and 2012 for employee of the year with the Parks and Recreation department. There was never a day that he purposely wanted to miss work, even on his sickest days he was always up and ready. If you asked me what hard working man is then I would tell you Augustine or as many of his coworkers knew him, Augie is that man. He not only enjoyed working but his other passions such as Gardening, Fishing, Writing, and how can I forget how much he loved to dance and listen to music.

Augustine Garcia Natividad Sr. is preceded in death by his father: Marcelino R. Natividad, mother: Rita G. Natividad, sister: Cruz G. Natividad, Brother: Arturo G. Natividad, and Nephew: Jacob N. Rayos.

Augustine is survived by his wife: Laura Macias Natividad, Son: Augustine M. Natividad Jr. and wife Amanda of San Antonio, Tx., Daughter's: Melissa M. Natividad, and Veronica M. Natividad; sisters: Katy N. Rayos, Celia N. Vasquez, and Lupe Natividad, Brothers: Marcelino Natividad Jr. and Oscar Natividad of Big Spring, Tx. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Pallbearers Eloy Herrera, Johnathan Baeza, Ernest Parras, Kiko Martinez, Ruben Salinas, and Chuy Morales.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2020 6pm til 8pm. at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel and Graveside Service Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery at 2pm.

The Natividad family would like to thank the staff of Reeves County Hospital, American Home Health and Hospice, and special thanks to our friend Angie Fierro. We would also like to extend our thank you to everyone keeping him in his prayers.
