Mrs. James Acker, “Sugar”, of Pecos passed away October 9, 2026. She was born on June 15, 1941, in Pecos, Texas to Earl Fisher and Novella Davis. She was the oldest one sister and one brother.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years James Acker and her parents and brother as well as a grandson James “Bubba” Acker.

Tommye Fisher Acker “Sugar” is survived by her daughter, her baby girl and caregiver Jaime Acker of Pecos, sons Russell Acker and David Watson and wife Shaula, son in law Vern Jones, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She retired from Pecos Insurance. She loved to fish and play golf. Sugar also loved spending time with family and friends, especially loved spending time with all her grandkids. She will be deeply missed.
