Socorro Solis, 80, of Pecos, TX, passed away on January 23, 2015.

Visitation will be 12:00-8:00 pm on Sunday January 25, 2015 at Pecos Funeral Home 607 W. 3rd, Pecos, TX.

Rosary will be 7:00 pm on Monday January 26, 2015 at Pecos Funeral Home 607 W. 3rd, Pecos, TX
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday January 27, in Pecos, TX at Santa Rosa Catholic Church - 620 E. 4th St, Pecos, TX with Father Pedro Garcia officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.

Socorro was born in Torreon Coahuila., Mexico to Antonio Valles and Celia Chaves Valles on January 11, 1935. She met and married Gilberto Solis on March 19, 1955 in Yermo Durango, Mexico they would have celebrated their 60th anniversary this year.

Socorro is preceded in death by a daughter Maria Del Rosario Solis, parents Antonio Valles and Celia Chaves Valles, sister Juanita Valles, brothers Aurelio Valles, Enrique Valles, and Jose Valles, great-grandkids Daniela, Gabriela, and Julian Solis-Cabral.

Socorro is survived by her loving husband Gilberto Solis. Daughters Maria-Bobby Rayos and Josie-Bobby Valles. Sons Tony-Veronica, Mario-Alicia, Gilbert-Alicia, Rosario-Connie, Javier-Veronica, Oscar-Anna, Daniel-Lisa, Jesse, and Isaac Solis 26 grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren. Brothers Luis-Hilda Valles and Jesus-Mari Valles. Beloved niece Julia-Ruben Cazares and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be her sons Tony, Mario, Gilbert, Rosario, Javier, Oscar, Danny, Jesse, and Isaac Solis.

Memorials may be given to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Patient Access Network Foundation, and Cancer Society.

The family of Socorro wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Perkins, Dr. Kelsall, Dr. Thudi, Dr. Chemmalakuzhy, Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Patient Access Network Foundation, all the nurses at Baylor Medical Center, Fr. Eduardo from St. Luke's Catholic Church in Irving, Texas. Chaplain Rene at Baylor Medical Center, Texas Oncology in Irving Texas, Baylor Cancer Center in Irving, Texas.
