Santana L. Mendosa

Jesus (Santana, Red), 89, of Pecos, Texas passed away on June 2, 2026 in Pecos, Texas. 

Visitation will be held Monday, June 8, 2026 at Pecos Funeral Home from 9:00am to 9:00pm with Rosary to be held at 7:00pm on Monday, June 8, 2026. Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Santa Rosa De Lime Catholic Church at 10:00am with burial to follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos, Texas.

Jesus (Santana) was born in Pecos, Texas to Rafael and Ester Mendoza on July 26, 1936. He married the love of his life Elisa C. Mendosa on December 13, 1959 in Pecos, Texas. 

He worked as a Coke distributor for Coca-Cola for many years. 

Santana is preceded in death by his parents Rafael and Ester, brothers Kiko, Victor, Magdaleno, and Joe. 

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Elisa and children Margie and husband Johnny Fuentes, Susie Mendoza and husband Gustavo Salgado, Edward Mendoza and and Abigail and RC Mendoza, grandkids Michelle, Arturo, and Erica Saenz, Ryon, and Rina Jalisa Mendoza, Joseph Fuentes, Timothy Valenzuela, Jeremiah Mendoza, Victoria Mendoza, along with 19 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-great Grandchildren and 2 Great-great-great Grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Jeremiah, Timothy, Joseph, Arturo, Ryon, Ethan, Isaiel, and Isiah.
