Salvador Aragon Nichols Jr. was born in Pecos, Texas, on January 17, 1970, to Yolanda Aragon and Salvador Nichols.

He was fortunate enough to be the eldest of his 6 siblings which naturally gave him a sense of responsibility throughout his life. Salvador Jr. was a proud father to four children and a loving grandfather to two beautiful granddaughters who brought him immense joy. He believed in the value of hard work and spent much of his life providing for his family through many different careers. Over the years, he worked in the oil field, served his community as a volunteer firefighter, and dedicated time working for the City of Pecos.

Beyond his work, Salvador was a man of faith who believed in the Lord and carried that belief with him throughout his life. His faith helped shape the way he treated others with kindness, humility, and compassion. He believed in doing right by people and trusted that God had a plan greater than any of us could see.

Salvador was the kind of man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Whether it was family, friends, or a stranger in need, he was always ready to step in. He lived life on his own terms and found happiness in the simple things like playing cards, gambling, raising roosters, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys every Sunday.

What truly made Salvador unforgettable was his spirit. His charisma, humor, and natural ability to connect with people made him someone others were instantly drawn to. He believed in treating everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of their background. Above all else, Salvador wished for peace, love, and unity for the people around him. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and strength to those fortunate enough to know him.

Salvador Jr. is survived by his father, Salvador Nichols; his four brothers, Frank and Chris Lanbrano, and Sal and Michael Nichols; his two sisters, Liza Arroyo and Annette Bolles; his three sons, Salvador Nichols III, Julian Nichols, and Moses Nichols; his daughter, Maraiah Nichols; and his granddaughters, London and Brooklyn Nichols.

Pallbearers will be Frank and Chris Lanbrano, Sal and Michael Nichols, Julian Nichols, and Moses Nichols.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, the legacy he leaves behind lives on through the many lives he touched and the family he loved so deeply.
