Salvador "Chilin" Muniz Sr

In loving memory of Salvador "Chilin" Muniz, who peacefully passed away at the age of 67 on June 18, 2024, surrounded by the warmth of his home in Pecos, Texas. Born on January 22, 1957, in the same town to his beloved parents Dolores and Rosa Muniz.

Salvador cherished moments spent with his dear friends and family, finding joy in their company and creating lasting memories together. Among his passions, golf held a special place in his heart, where he found solace and camaraderie on the greensHe is now reunited in eternal peace with his parents Dolores and Rosa Muniz, as well as his ten brothers and sisters who have gone before him. Salvador leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, carried on by his devoted sons: Raymon Rayos, Rudy Nunez (Jennifer), and Salvador Muniz Jr. (Heather).

In the hearts of his brothers Israel "Chuco" Muniz and Jesus "Chuy" Muniz (Elvira), and sisters Santiago "Jimmy" Contreras and Monse Acosta, Salvador's spirit will always reside. He also leaves a cherished imprint on the lives of his six grandchildren: Karissa, Gabi, Alexandria, Mason, Fernando, Sergio; and a precious great-granddaughter named Rooney.

The life of Salvador "Chilin" Muniz will be honored in Memorial Services on June 27th at 7pm followed by Funeral Services at 10am at Pecos Funeral Home. The final farewell will take place at Santa Rosa cemetery where he will rest in peace.

As we say goodbye to a remarkable soul, let us remember Salvador for the love he shared unconditionally and the light he brought into our lives. May his memory continue to inspire us all.
