Rosa Linda Villescas-Munoz

Rosa Linda Villescas Muñoz, 77 years old, of Pecos, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Pecos Funeral Home from 11:00am to 9:pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Pecos Funeral Home

Mass will be held at Santa Rosa de Lima church 620 E. 4th Street, Pecos, Texas at 10am on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 with burial following at Greenwood Cemetery.

Linda was born in Balmorhea, Texas to Roddy and Betty Villescas on March 23, 1948. She was a proud Class of 1969 graduate of Pecos High School and their biggest supporter throughout her life. She married Marcelino Muñoz in 1980 and became a homemaker and devoted aunt to her family.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Roddy and Betty Villescas, brother Danny Villescas, and niece Priscilla Villescas Duran.

Linda is survived by her sister Mary Helen (Mario) Urias, brother Roddy (Juanita) Villescas, 16 nieces and nephews, and numerous fellow “Little Joe” fans.

The pallbearers will be Eddie Avila, Luis Villescas, Adrian Garcia, Sam Montes, Darien Guerrero and Icarus Garcia.

The family of Linda would like to thank and extend our sincere gratitude to Nurse’s Unlimited, Meals on Wheels, Reeves Regional, and members of her family who always checked up on her.
