Rosa Lara

Rosa Lara, 64 of Pecos passed away after a short illness on November 9, 2018 in Midland.
Viewing will be on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 1:00pm - 9:00 pm and Monday, November 12, 2018 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm with the rosary to be said at 7:00 pm, on Monday evening. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 10:00 am at Santa Rosa Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
Rosa Lara was born in Pecos on August 18, 1954 and had lived all her life in Pecos. After graduating from Pecos High School, she attended Odessa College and had worked all her life as a CNA.
Rosa Lara is preceded in death by her husband Adan Huertas and her brothers Jose Cortez, Mike Cortez, Gilbert Lara and Ricky Lara.
She is survived by her sons, Gabriel Huertas and Adam Huertas. She is also survived by her mother Juanita R. Lara; her brothers Fred Lara and Tony Lara; her sisters Maria Lara, Mary Lou Ramirez and two grandsons.
Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice. The Family of Rosa Lara wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Ashton Medical Lodge.
