Roland O. Reyes

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Roland O. Reyes, who departed this life on November 27, 2025, in Pecos, Texas. Born on September 29, 1959, in Pecos.

Roland was joined in marriage to Debra Ann Reyes on June 10, 1985, at the Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church, an event that marked the beginning of a loving partnership. Together, they raised a wonderful family, which includes their sons Victor Reyes and Timothy Reyes, and daughters Angela Galindo and Beatrice Burciaga. Roland's legacy continues through his grandchildren: Eris Reyes, Roland Reyes, Rowan Reyes, Zavier Reyes, Aviah Reyes, Eloisa Burciaga, Uriel Barrera Jr., Julissa Armendariz, Amanda Adame, Jessica Adame, and his great-granddaughter Nova'lynn Adame. He found immense joy in the time spent with his family, each moment enriching his life.

Roland was the beloved son of Manuel A. Reyes Sr. and Irene R. Ramirez, whose memories will forever be cherished. He is also preceded in death by Teresa R. Romo and Manuel O. Reyes Jr., who remain in the hearts of those who loved them.

In addition to his immediate family, Roland is survived by his brothers Raul Reyes, Alvaro Reyes, Eddie Reyes, and Gilbert Reyes, and his sisters Yolanda Dawdy, Rosemary Gallegos, Delma Reyes, Gloria Reyes, and Mercedes Reyes. Each sibling shared unique moments with him throughout his life, holding fond memories that will endure.

The services to honor Roland’s life are scheduled to take place at Pecos Funeral Home, located at 607 W 3rd St, Pecos, Texas. Visitation will be held on December 4, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, followed by a Rosary service at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 10:00 AM on December 5, 2025, at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church, located at 620 E 4th St, Pecos, Texas. Following the Mass, he will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery, with the burial taking place at 11:30 AM.

Roland is remembered not only as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother but also as a friend who touched the lives of many. His spirit and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. The pallbearers who will honor him one last time include Victor Reyes, Timothy Reyes, Joe Nunez, Frankie Medrano, Christian Reyes, Gabriel Reyes, Eddie Reyes, and Gilbert Reyes.

As we gather to celebrate the life of Roland O. Reyes, we reflect on the love he shared, the laughter he brought, and the legacy he leaves behind, ensuring that his memory will be carried forward by all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
