Robert (Bob) Floyd Kelton Passed from this life on September 14, 2023 in Midland, Texas.

Robert (Bob)Floyd Kelton was born in Pecos, Texas to Jim Tom and Doris Kelton on September 6, 1948. He attended school at Wink,Texas and college at Sul Ross University. He married Kathy Marie Baker on March 7, 1975 in Kermit, Texas. Bob worked for Anderson Ranch/Dixieland Ranch for 50 years before retiring in 2017. Bob loved ranching. He was a true Cattleman, he knew his cattle. He knew each cow and what her calves were and how good a momma she was. He was always looking for ways to improve the cattle and the ranch. Bob also loved horses and training them. One of his greatest joys was when the mares began to foal in the spring.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Jim Tom Kelton and Doris Kelton.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, children Frank and wife Amanda Kelton and Suzanne and husband Heath Ownbey, sister Janell Kelton, niece Jae Carol and husband Bret Swihart and great nephew Luca,4 grandchildren Calley and Halan Kelton and Kree and Ivee Ownbey.

Pallbearers are Heath Ownbey, Chris Cross, Trey Armstrong, Remington Slaughter, Tate Slaughter and Derrick Garnett.

Memorials may be given to Cal Farley’s Boy Ranch, West of the Pecos Museum, Western World Ministries or Haley Library.
