Robert (Robbie) Francis Haddox, 54, passed away on September 6, 2026. Raised in El Paso, Texas, Robbie was 1 of 11 children to John and Carmen Haddox. His siblings were: Chris Huber, John Haddox Jr, Charles Haddox, Meg Haddox, Thomas Haddox, Raissa DeGraw, Grace Haddox, Madeleine Haddox, Richie Haddox, and Tim Haddox. He loved his family dearly.

Robbie and Richie were two peas in a pod. The twin brothers were always more trouble together than when they were apart and had a special bond that couldn’t be replaced.

Robbie graduated from Burges High School where he was a star athlete and then attended UTEP. Early in his career he worked managing restaurants in El Paso and then in Charlotte, NC. He then moved to Alpine, TX where he owned a couple of restaurants. Alpine also became a special place because this is where he met the love of his life, Karissa, who became his wife.

Robbie and Karissa were married in July 2011 and settled in Pecos, TX. They enjoyed listening to music and laughing with friends. Robbie always had a story to go with whatever the topic was. He was a great husband and provider who always strived to make Karissa happy.

Robbie became a father in 2017 with the birth of his son, Hudson Robert, marking the most important day in his life. Hudson was the light of Robbie’s world and he treasured all of the time he spent with his best friend. Board games, arcading, watching Andy Griffith, and entertaining Hudson with comical tall tales were some of their favorite past times.

Robbie had an easy, outgoing spirit which made others feel welcome. He loved people which made him a successful salesman, most recently with Pumps Plus. The people he met through his job quickly became friends.

Robbie loved life and carried hope and faith as he fought hard. He will be forever missed.

Visitation will be at Pecos Funeral Home, Tuesday, September 15, 2026 from 5-7pm. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Catherine Catholic Church in Pecos on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 10am and a gathering with lunch will follow at the Civic Center. Burial will be in El Paso at a later date.
