It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Ricardo "Rico" Ramirez Moralez, who left us peacefully at the age of 66 on October 20, 2026, in Saragosa, Texas. Born on April 4, 1960, in Pecos, Texas, Rico was the life of the party and filled every moment with joy.

Rico loved spending time in the great outdoors, whether it was camping or fishing with family. He had a special love for Las Vegas and was a dedicated fan of the Los Angeles Rams. As a skilled mason and carpenter, Rico took pride in his work, but his greatest joy came from being with his family and playing with all the kids. He had a way of connecting with them that was truly special—every kid seemed to look up to him.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Enedina Ramirez Morales, and his brother, Anastacio "Tito" Morales. Rico is survived by his father, Jose Armando Morales, and his siblings: Jubencio "Ben" Morales, Sylvia Moralez, Annabel Ortega, Maribel Baca, Patricia Lujan, Amanda Morales, and Armando Morales. He also leaves behind uncles Ramon Morales and Buddy Ramirez, aunts Senorina Nunez and Mary Ramirez, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss him dearly.

Rico’s life will be celebrated with a Visitation that will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026 at Pecos Funeral Home from 9:00AM to 9:00PM visitation to continue on Tuesday, with Rosary to be held at 7:00PM Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Pecos Funeral Home. Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Pecos, Texas. Everyone is welcome to join us for this special service honoring a truly wonderful man.
