Rebecca McGuire Celaya, of Pecos, TX, passed away on January 10, 2026 in Pecos, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. January 17, 2026, in Alpine, TX with Pastor Alfredo Celaya, at Grace Fellowship Church, officiating.

Becky Celaya was born in Alpine, TX. to George and Leduvina McGuire on November 7, 1954. She went to school in Marfa, TX. She married, Hilario “Sony” Celaya on January 29, 1978, in Marfa, TX. She graduated from Marfa, Tx. High School.

Becky M. Celaya is preceded in death by her parents, George and Leduvina McGuire, her brother, Jose Angel McGuire, and grandson, Shaiden Paul Abila.

She is survived by her husband, Hilario “Sony” Celaya, her son, Christopher Celaya, her son, Hilario “Sonny” & Valerie Celaya III, her son, Joshua & Beverly Celaya. Grandchildren, Marcus Celaya, Maleke Abila, Khaidenze Abila, Olivia Celaya, Noah Celaya, Niciah Acosta, Yareli “Yaya” Celaya, Kairi Acosta, Ray Celaya and great granddaughter, Jhailena Abila.

The honorary pallbearer's will be her sons Christopher Celaya, Sonny Celaya, Joshua Celaya and grandsons Marcus Celaya, Khaidenze Abila, Noah Celaya.
