Quentin Armstrong

November 29, 1922 — September 11, 2013

Longtime rancher, World War II Veteran, and Pioneer Family Recipient, Quentin Cole Armstrong Sr., passed away at his residence early Thursday morning, September 11, 2013 at the age of 90. He was born November 29, 1922 in Ward County to Charles and Gadie Belle Armstrong.

He is survived by his wife, Bana, two sons Quentin Cole Armstrong, Jr., and Paul Armstrong, one daughter, Amanda Kington, and four stepdaughters, Janet Ranaldi, Pamela Smith, Andrea Bowman, and Angela Rosanbalm, sixteen grandchildren, six greatgrandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister Hope Armstrong Wilson. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mavis Armstrong.

Memorials may be sent to the West of the Pecos Museum.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Pecos, TX, 423 S. Hickory at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday September 14, 2013, with graveside services immediately following at Mount Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 13th from 58 pm at Pecos Funeral Home.
