Paula M. Rodriguez, 85 of Pecos, Texas entered peacefully into paradise led by the hands of angels and proudly presented by her children to God The Most High on Monday January 15, 2018.
Her final days were extremely joyous and memorable by an out pour of affection of caregivers, friends, church members, family but most especially her sons daughters and grandchildren, who never relented in caring and aiding her throughout her stay at Madison Medical Resort, Odessa TX
Visitation will be at Pecos Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 17th 5pm - 9pm, Thursday, January 18th 9am-9pm and Friday, January 19th 9am - 1pm. Rosary is Thursday January 18, 2018 at 7:30pm
Mass of the Resurrection
will be on Friday, January 19th 2pm with Father Trini Fuentez officiating.
Burial will follow at Mt. Evergreen.
Paula Rodriguez was born in Balmorhea, Texas to Casimiro and Marta Mendoza on September 9, 1932. She went to school in Marfa, Texas. She married Toribio N. Rodriguez on July 7, 1951 in Pecos, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of Santa Rosa Catholic Church, where she devoted herself in grand service as a Cursillista, Guadalupana, Rosary Prayer Warrior, and a Master "Gordita" cook during church festivals.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Toribio N. Rodriguez, her son Dagoberto Rodriguez, her daughter Carmen Rodriguez and sisters, Lola Mendoza and Josefa Jacquez and brothers, Manuel & Celedonio Mendoza.
Paula is survived by Lupe "Pepo" & Grace Rodriguez of San Angelo, TX, Toribio "Ivo" & Delia Rodriguez, Henry "Boy" Rodriguez, Frank & Rosa Rodriguez of Midland, TX, Rudy & Ymelda Rodriguez and Gilbert Rodriguez of Pecos, TX, Joel & Martha Garcia of Birmingham, AL, and Eric & Barbara Arreguy of Odessa, TX , twenty-two grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend their profound gratitude to Madison Medical Resort & Hospice of Midland for their compassionate care, to Fr David of Midland and Fr Trini of El Paso for their spiritual guidance and service, and to a multitude of friends and family who's thoughts and prayers will comfort and sustain the family as they mourn and say farewell to their beloved matriarch.
Mother, welcome home you have arrived at a glorious place where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or no pain but fullness of peace and joy especially as you and dad look down so proudly at each of us..."Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant"
