Paula Machuca

Paula U. Machuca 94 of Buena Vista, Ojinaga Chih Mexico, passed away on November 19, 2016 in Pecos, Tx.

Visitation we be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2016 at the Pecos Funeral Home and the Rosary will proceed at 7:30 p.m. at the Pecos Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Santa Rosa De Lima Church held by Father Andy Martinez, the burial will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery where arrangements are made by Pecos Funeral Home.

Paula was born in Buena Vista, Ojinaga Chih Mexico to Felix and Juana Urias on January 26, 1922. She married Inocente B. Machuca on April 7,1941 in Presidio. She was a housewife for many years and was involved in the Santa Rosa Catholic De Lima Church as Guadalupana, Legion De Maria, Eucharistic Minister and coordinator for the Altar Servers. She was preceded in death by her husband Inocente and one of her sons Cresencio Machuca along with her parents and seven of her brothers and sisters. Paula is survived by 5 children; Felix Machuca spouse Marina Machuca, Nicolasa Montoya, Manuela Martinez, Dulces Martinez spouse Francisco Martinez, and Alicia Acosta. She leaves behind 22 Grandchildren, 58 Great-Grandchildren and 34 Great-Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers; Neponoceno Urias, Jose Urias, Jose Maria Urias and one Sister; Micaela Vuelvas. Her pall bearers will be her first grandsons; Gabriel Machuca, Sisto Montoya, Felix Machuca Jr., Moises Martinez, Mathew Martinez and Louis Acosta.

The family of Paulita Machuca wished to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Serrano and American Home Health Nurses and a special thanks to Father Andy Martinez. May God Bless all of you and thank you for helping our Wela Bird.
