Pascuala Velasquez Sandoval, born on April 7, 1940, in Barrancos de Guadalupe, Chihuahua, Mexico, passed away peacefully in Pecos, Texas, on November 28, 2025. She was 85 years old and left behind a cherished legacy of love, devotion, and family.
Pascuala's life was a testament to dedication and nurturing. On September 24, 1958, she married the love of her life, Daniel Sandoval, in McDonald, New Mexico. Together, they built a warm and loving home filled with laughter and the joyous chaos that comes from raising a large family. Pascuala devoted herself to being a housewife and mother, pouring her heart and soul into every moment spent with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved children, including Rosa S. Mesta and her husband Felix Mesta, Daniel Sandoval and his wife Adela Castillo Sandoval, Adelita S. Jaso and her husband Samuel Jaso, Benito Sandoval and his wife Bernadette Cook Sandoval, Hugo Sandoval and his wife Olga Carrasco Sandoval, Monica Sandoval and her husband Javier Aguirre, Victor Sandoval Tavarez and wife Margarette Sandoval Tavarez, Melissa Sandoval Tavarez and her husband Roman Ivan Tavarez, Fotino Jacobo Sandoval, and Michelle S. Mendoza and her husband Gerardo Mendoza. Pascuala also leaves behind an extraordinary legacy in the form of 44 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Daniel Sandoval, as well as her sons, Abran Sandoval and Jesus Sandoval, her daughter, Lorena Sandoval Munoz, and grandson, Jose Felix Mesta. Pascuala also mourned the loss of her parents, Trinidad Velasquez and Elauteria Carrasco, who will forever hold a special place in her heart.
Pascuala’s unwavering spirit and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew her. Her home was a sanctuary filled with warmth and support, where countless memories were created, shared, and cherished. She had a remarkable ability to bring joy and comfort to those around her, always putting the needs of her family first.
Visitation services will be held at the Sandoval Residence located at 78 CR 407, Pecos, Texas. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on December 1, 2025, start at 11:00 AM and again on December 2, 2025, anytime. A Rosary will follow on December 2 at 7:00 PM.
A Mass will honor her life at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church, located at 620 E 4th St, Pecos, Texas, on December 3, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery at 11:30 AM.
Pascuala Velasquez Sandoval will forever be remembered for her boundless love, her nurturing spirit, and her incredible legacy of family unity. She leaves behind not just her descendants but a living example of the strength and beauty of familial love. Her memory will continue to inspire, guiding her family with the love she instilled in each of them.
