Oscar Q Ornelas Sr. 58 of Pecos, Passed away on January 17, 2014 in Odessa, TX at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Rosary will be Monday January 20, 2014 at 7:30 PM at Pecos Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday January 21, 2014 at Pecos Funeral Home with the Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery Pecos TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Pecos Funeral Home.
Oscar was born in Balmorhea TX, to Jesus A. and Mercedes Q. Ornelas on February 5, 1955. He went to school in Pecos. He married Stella D. Ornelas on August 13, 1983 in Pecos. He worked as a supervisor in the sanitation department for the Town of Pecos City for 27 years. He was also a member of the Pecos Citizen Police Academy. Oscar was a loving son, brother, husband, and most of all a father. He love his whole family but his greatest treasures are his three children. He was a great musician and his love for music touched many that had the honor of knowing him. Oscar was also a true blue Dallas Cowboys fan.
