Norverta Sais Jaso
Norverta S. Jaso went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2018.
She was born on February 25, 1932 to Raphael & Augustina Sais.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law: Lily and Lee Serrano, and Jessie and Fred Perez, all of Pecos. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and their spouses: Daniel and April Orosco, Susan and Robert Gonzalez, Bobbie Orosco, Jennifer and Luis Natividad, Lee Serrano Junior, Lorenzo and Anabell Serrano, & Luke Serrano.
She was a loving great-grandmother to nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great- Grand Children,and was awaiting the arrival of a third. Also survived by two sisters Florentina Dominguez of Pecos, Carmen Jaso of Pecos, & one brother Sisto Sais of Odessa. She joins in heaven her son, husband; Felix C. Jaso, eight sisters, & two brothers.
Norverta was born and raised in Pecos, Texas where she married Felix C. Jaso in 1949 and the two made Pecos their home.
She was Catholic, and also one of the first attendees of Word of Hope Church. She maintained a life of faith & prayer for 86 years. She had a passion for helping others, and spending time with her family. As a homemaker she taught her children to pray and built a home centered on Christ.
She found joy in helping others, hosting family & friends, and dancing with Felix.
Norverta was a beacon of light to her family and everyone around her. Her love and wisdom will live on through the many people she encountered and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 5, 2018 from 9:00 am to 9:00 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Eulogy & Rosary is set for Wednesday December 5, 2018 at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel at 7:00pm
Funeral Services will be held on December 6, 2018 at Word of Hope Christian Church at 11:00 am with Lee Serrano Officiating Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Pecos Funeral Home.
