Natividad Navarrette

Natividad Navarrette 98, of Lovington New Mexico passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 5, 2015.

Visitation will be on Sunday November 8, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Rosary will be held on Monday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Saul Pacheco officiating, burial will follow at Van Horn Cemetery.

Natividad was born in El Paso, Texas to Ramon and Conception Navarrette on February 1, 1917. Natividad was a devoted Catholic and caring man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the Cursillistas of the Catholic Church. In his spare time Natividad enjoyed fishing, hunting, making puzzles, coloring, caring for his dogs and watching the greatest team ever "The Dallas Cowboys". Natividad was a very hard worker who retired from the railroad after 33 years.

Natividad was preceded in death by his wife Maria Luz Molina Navarrette who passed in 2004. Natividad is also preceded in death by his daughter Estella Guerrero and one son Richard Navarrette.

Natividad was an extremely loving father and was proud of his children. He is survived by daughters Chona Benavidez and husband Nick, Janie Martinez, Delia Licon and Husband Celso; sons Thomas Navarrette and wife Becky, Natividad Navarrette Jr. and wife Angelita as well as many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Vince de La O, Gerry Guerrero, Mark Aguilar, Chris Aguilar, Edward Alvarado, Mario Morales, Austin de La O, and Matthew Aguilar

The Family of Natividad Navarrette would like to thank his nurses at Good Samaritan Society in Lovington, New Mexico for their loving care and support. A very special thank you to one of his favorite nurses Brenda Parra who blessed him with many winks and kisses. Thank you also to the staff of Heritage Funeral Home in Van Horn, Texas.
