Mildred Ruth Evans, 95, of Pecos, TX passed away on July 28, 2017, in San Angelo, TX.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Pecos Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 31, 2017, at Mount Evergreen Cemetery with Jim Daniels of the First Baptist Church, Barstow, TX, officiating. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.

Mildred Ruth Evans was born in Roby, TX, to Garland and Ruth Blythe on May 14, 1922. She went to school at Divide, TX. She married Roy William Evans on June 1, 1941 in Sweetwater, TX. She was a homemaker.

Mildred Ruth Evans is preceded in death by her husband, Roy William Evans, her parents and three siblings.

Mildred Ruth Evans is survived by her sons, Ronnie (Judy) Evans of Weatherford, TX, Lance (Cynthia) Evans of San Angelo, TX, sister Mary Virginia Bowermaster of Mount Pleasant, SC, grandchildren, Kelly (Tommy) Childers of Midland, TX, Kevin (Chelli) Evans of Odessa, TX and Blythe Evans (Sean Moore) of Pecos, TX, 7 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
