Miguel Santos Quezada took his journey home on January 1, 2019.

Visitation is at 3-9 pm on Thursday, January 10 at Pecos Funeral Chapel.

Rosary will be at 7:30pm.at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, January 11 at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church.

Miguel was born to Eulalia Santos Alarcón and Miguel Calvillo Quezada in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila. At the age of 15, Miguel and Lydia fell deeply in love and were married on 6/2/1956. After surviving the 1965 flood in Sanderson, Texas, Miguel and Lydia chose to build their home in Pecos. As a strong provider, Miguel instilled the value of dedication and determination in his family. He is among the workers who have created highways well-traveled today and paved a strong path for his family to excel. His quick wit and sense of humor continues to light up our hearts gifting us an everlasting joyful presence. His love and service has extended generations and leaves a strong legacy through his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lydia San Miguel Quezada, daughter Lydia Quezada and grandson Jesse Armendariz; parents Eulalia Santos Alarcon, Miguel Calvillo Quezada and siblings Maria Quezada Rangel, Esperanza Quezada Armas, and Julian Quezada.

Miguel is survived by his brother, Mario (Carmen) Quezada; children Miguel (Kathy) Quezada, Beto (Melissa) Quezada, Hilda Garcia, Angie (Edward) Lujan, and Lily Quezada; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Vanessa Quezada, Valerie Soto, Gabbie Armendariz, Alex Lujan, Steven Quezada, Andrew Soto, Nicholas Cruz and Zachary Cruz.
The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the generous hearts of the family and friends who have provided loving prayers and support along the way.
