Paula was born in Amarillo Texas to Paul Anthony Fuller and Mary Ethel Fuller (Cunningham) on October 12, 1929. She went to school in Amarillo Texas. She graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Physical Education. She worked as a teacher in a career that spanned many decades ending her career at Austin Elementary in Pecos Texas where she taught past the age of 80. Over her career she's taught well over 400 students.
Paula is survived by her daughters Amy Hymel and Jeannie Timmons and her sons Christopher Foster and Roger Foster, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The modern concept of love is so debased that it's almost pointless to even use the word. So, it's better to go with the Biblical definition: “⁴Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; ⁵it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; ⁶it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. ⁷Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13. To one degree or another Paula displayed every one of these attributes of love, especially patience.
Over Paula's long life she was a huge help to those close to her. As sorry as it is to see her go, towards the end she was getting ground down by old age, and, really, she's done enough. Not that anyone should put much stock in feelings, but there is a feeling or a sense that after waiting almost 100 years Jesus is more than happy to finally have her home.
