Maribel Salgado, Passed from this life and entered eternal rest on August 19, 2026 in Plano, Texas 

Maribel was born in Pecos, Texas, on January 5, 1965, to Tomas and Justina Salgado. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who cherished her family deeply.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tomas Salgado, and brothers, Serjio Salgado and Tomas Jr. Salgado.

She leaves behind her loving mother, Justina Salgado; her sisters, Ana Varela, Elva Tarango, Sally Gonzalez, and Anatalia Lujan; and her brother, Cesar Salgado. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she adored dearly and held close to her heart.

Maribel loved spending time with her family, traveling, and being there for everyone she loved. Maribel had a generous heart and was always willing to give of herself to others, whether it was her time, her support, or helping financially when someone was in need. She was the life of the party, and some of our favorite memories were gathering together, dancing, laughing, and listening to 80's music. Her kindness, generosity, and love for her family will always be remembered. She will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm with a Prayer service to be held at 7:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 10:00am at Pecos Funeral Home, Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
