Maria Baeza Valeriano

Maria Baeza Valeriano, 90 years old, went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2023 in Odessa, Texas. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Maria (Nana) was born in San Antonio Del Bravo, Chihuahua, Mexico to Pablo and Mariana Baeza on September 7, 1933. She married the love of her life Arturo S. Valeriano on June 10, 1961, in San Antonio Del Bravo. She worked multiple jobs throughout her life and raised her five boys with love and devotion. She was an active member of her church and was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband Arturo S. Valeriano, father Pablo Baeza, mother Mariana Baeza, sister Eloisa Machuca, brothers Manuel and Jesus Baeza.

Maria is survived by her sons: Arturo Valeriano (Nancy) of Grand Prairie, TX; Efrain Valeriano (Dora) of Irving TX; Saul Valeriano (Crystal) of Pecos TX; Humberto Valeriano (Paula) of Alamogordo, NM; Artemio Valeriano (Marlie) of Pecos, TX. She is survived by brothers Salomon Baeza (Lidia) of San Antonio Del Bravo, MX and Martin Baeza of Hollis, OK. She is survived by 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons: Enrique Ortega Valeriano, Andres Valeriano, Christian J. Alexander, Pablo F. Valeriano, Matthew J. Valeriano, and Alejandro A. Valeriano.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Pecos Funeral Home.  Rosary will be from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 202 at 10:00 AM at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church in Pecos. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are being provided by Pecos Funeral Home.
