Maria Rubio, 83, passed away on November 12, 2020, in Odessa, Texas. She entered this world on July 6, 1937, in Balmorhea, TX, born to Aguedo and Luz (Evaro) Rodriguez.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Aguedo Rodriguez, Luz Rodriguez, Spouse; Apolino C. Rubio, Brother; Frank Rodriguez, Brother; Juan Rodriguez, Brother; Chevo Rodriguez, Brother; Alfredo Rodriguez, Brother; Lalo Rodriquez, Brother; Efren Rodriguez, Sister; Manuela (Mele) Rodriguez, Son; Paul Rubio Jr.

She is survived by her son; Arturo Rodriguez, daughter; Dolores Maldonado, son; Elojio Rubio; son;Oscar Rubio, daughter;Yolanda Vela; daughter; Sylvia Rubio, son; Aguedo Rubio (spouse) Priscilla (Hernandez) Rubio, stepdaughter; Delma Romo (spouse) Joe Romo, adopted daughter; Desirae Rubio, adopted daughter; Crystal Rubio, adopted son;Joe Angel Rubio; adopted son; Aguedo Rubio Jr., 29 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Maria was a devoted wife who loved her family dearly. She was always willing to help anyone without judgement. She LOVED children and enjoyed family gatherings. Music and cooking were her therapy. She also loved to dance. She loved her sidekick Precious (dog) and she liked parrots as well.

Visitation Thursday, November 19, 2020, from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. with a Rosary beginning at 2:00 P.M. at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be Friday, November 20, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery, Pecos, Texas.

Due to COVID19 Pandemic ALL services are limited to Immediate Family ONLY up to 25 persons. All others are invited to the graveside. ALL services require masks, as well as Social Distancing.
