Maria Jesus (Jessica) Montgomery, 65, of Pecos, TX, passed away on January 26, 2016 in San Angelo, TX.
Family visitation will be on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016 at Pecos Funeral Home. Visitation for everyone will be on Wednesday and Thursday, February 3rd and 4th. Rosary will be at 7:30PM Thursday, February 4th, 2016 at Pecos Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10am on Friday, February 5th, 2016 at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with Father Cruz officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
Maria (Jessica) was born in Pecos, TX to Domingo and Santos Carrasco on January 24, 1951. She went to school at Pecos. She married Clarence Lee Montgomery on January 3, 1972 in Pecos, TX. She had five children Clarence Jr., David, Michelle, Elizabeth and Willie. She was married until Clarence's death on July 19, 1992 and later met Ismael Carrasco whom she spent her life with until her death. She was a homemaker and seamstress to the town. She could fix or sew anything from hemming pants to making uniforms for Pecos High School.
Maria Jesus Montgomery is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Lee Montgomery, parents Domingo and Santos Carrasco, siblings Domingo Carrasco Jr. and Maria Manuela Rodriguez,.
Maria is survived by her, life partner Ismael Carrasco; children-Clarence Montgomery Jr., David Montgomery, Michelle Montgomery Ingerson, Elizabeth Montgomery Couture, and Willie Montgomery; grandchildren-Sydney Mosby, Dea'Juan Ogles, Jadyn Ingerson, and Kynnedi Montgomery. Her siblings Martin Carrasco of Pecos, Cristobal Carrasco of Pecos, Guadalupe Carrasco of Manteca, CA, Elydia Mondragon of Pecos, and Tomasa Carrasco of San Jose, CA also survive Maria.
The family of Maria Jesus Montgomery wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Moises and Cindy Arenivas, Sylvia and Leo Carreon of San Angelo, Robert and Bertha Natividad, and all family and friends for helping in our time of need.
