With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Margarita Beltran, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister, who passed away peacefully at The ORMC on September 2, 2026.

Margarita was born on December 27, 1965, in Pecos, Texas, to Anastasia and Manuel Marquez. She lived a life rich in love, laughter, hard work, and unwavering devotion to her family. Margarita was a proud resident of Pecos, where she built a life filled with family, love, and countless cherished memories.

She leaves behind her three beloved children: Jose Luis Beltran Jr., Arturo Beltran, and Kimberly Soza and her husband, Manuel Soza; brother Danny (Cristina) Marquez; sister Susan Guzman; niece Monica (Daniel) Akins; nephews Larry (Marisol) Marquez, Joe Marquez, and Sezar (Roxanna) Amarillas.

Margarita was also blessed with five grandchildren: Arianna, Manuel Jr., Asher, Easton, and A’Lani Soza, who brought her great joy and happiness.

She also leaves behind her beloved partner, Osvaldo Alvarado , who shared a meaningful chapter of her life with her and brought her companionship and love Their time together will forever remain a cherished part of Margarita’s story.

Great-nieces and great-nephew: Ariel Marquez, Annakereece Akins, and Anthony Marquez.

Margarita was preceded in death by her late husband, Jose Luis Beltran Sr.; her parents, Manuel Marquez and Anastasia Hignojos; her beloved sister, Gloria Jaquez; and her brothers, Manuel, Miguel, Enrique, Henry, and Thomas Marquez.

Beyond her life as a devoted mother and grandmother, Margarita found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially music. She loved dancing and listening to cumbias, often bringing family and friends together with her laughter and warm-hearted spirit. Those moments of music, dancing, and togetherness will remain treasured memories for everyone who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to gather together to honor Margarita’s life, share stories, and remember the love, laughter, music, and memories she gave so freely to those around her.
