Margaret Diane Teague

Margaret Diane Teague, 78, of Pecos, passed away on September 7th 2025 peacefully at her home surrounded by family, after a long illness.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at Pecos Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday September 17th 2025 at 4th & Bois d' Arc Church of Christ. With Todd Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Eyergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.

Diane was born in Nacogdoches, Texas to Rayford and Mittie Waggoner on January 9th 1947. She went to school in Nacogdoches then attended college at Stephen F Austin until she met the love of her life Johnny. She worked as a telephone operator at Southwestern Bell until it closed then went to Delhi Oil and Gas then went to Cattleman's to help them after her future daughter in law was in a car wreck. Then she went to work at Texas New Mexico Power until they closed the Pecos office. After that she stayed home taking care of her loved ones.

She loved teaching Sunday school classes and Vacation Bible School for many years at the Pecos Church of Christ. Always enjoyed getting to spend time with family and friends.

Diane is preceded in death by her loving husband Johnny of 53 years, parents Rayford and Mittie Waggoner, sister Brenda Pinkston.

Diane is survived by children Trevor (Cathy) Teague of Pecos, Darla Teague of San Angelo, Bill (Amber) Teague of Big Spring. Sister Carol Kennedy, brother Rayburn (Judy) Waggoner all from Nacogdoches. Grandchildren Derek, Clay (Haylee), Mac (Kinzee), Alexandra & Grant Teague and 7 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Derek, Clay, Mac, & Grant Teague, Jet Taylor and Zane Jones. •
