Marcos Contreras

Marcos Contreras 87 of Pecos passed away on October 10, 2015 in Pecos at his home.
Rosary will be Monday October 12, 2015 at 7:30 PM at Pecos Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church in Balmorhea TX., with Father Jose de la Cruz Longoria officiating. Burial will follow at the Balmorhea Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Pecos Funeral Home.

Marcos was born in Saragosa, TX. to Victor Contreras and Dominga Fuentes on April 25, 1928. He was married to Angela Contreras on March 18, 1950 in Balmorhea. Marcos worked as a farmer all his life and also worked as a maintenance man for the Pecos Nursing Home.

Marcos is preceded in death by his loving wife Angela Contreras, his son Danny Contreras and grandson Arnulfo "Nufy" Vasquez.
Marcos is survived by his children, Marcos Junior Contreras of Monahans, Terry Enmon of Pecos, Mike Contreras of Ft Stockton, Frank Contreras of Kermit, Nola Contreras of Pecos and Lorie Contreras of Pecos. Marcos is also survived by one sister Rosa Jurado of Imperial and 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mikey Contreras, Jake Contreras, angel Valle, Cheyenne Valle, Alexa Juarez and Danny "Bubba" Enmon.
