Macaria Huertas

Macaria Huertas, 88 of Pecos, Texas passed away on October 31, 2018 in Pecos, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1 from 9 am to 9 pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary was said on Thursday, November 1 at 7:30 pm. Mass will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2 pm at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church officiated by Rev. Father Jose de la Cruz. Burial will follow at Mt.Evergreen Cemetery.
Macaria was born in Presidio, Texas to Refugio and Maria Alaniz on March 10, 1930. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Eva Jaramillo; a son, Adam Huertas, Oscar Huertas. She is survived by daughters - Viola Munoz and Rosa Pena, sisters - Albina Lara, Prisciliana Rede. Fourteen grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive.
Pallbearers will be Oliver I. Zermeno, John Estrada, Ray Pena III, Alfred Reyes, Oscar Huertas, Jr, and Lupe Rede.
The family of Macaria wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Pecos Nursing Home for the care that they provided for their loved one. And to everyone who has kept the family in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
