Luis B. "Gordo" Orona Jr

With sorrow and heartbreak, we announce the passing of our brother, uncle, nephew and cousin, Luis B. Orona Jr. (Gordo), Wednesday, October 9, 2025, at 54 years old.

He was born February 10, 1971, in Pecos, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 9:00am - 12:00pm. A Rosary will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will follow after the Rosary at Green Wood Cemetery. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Isidro (Chilo) and Anna Acosta, his cousin Daniel Subia and his nephews Albert Navarette Jr. and Adam Lee Ybarra.

Survivors include: his brothers Richard Orona (Kurt) and Isidro Acosta Jr., sisters, Rochelle (Frank) Carrasco, Maricela (Jr.) Adame, Crissy Acosta and Michelle Dominguez; several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
