Luis Enrique "Ricky" Hinojos

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Luis Enrique Hinojos, known affectionately to family and friends as Ricky. Luis was born on August 13, 1968, and departed this life on December 7, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving behind a legacy of love, camaraderie, and cherished memories.

Ricky was a devoted father who treasured his children, Breonda, Brendan, and Hailey. His greatest joys were found in the simple moments spent with his family—whether gathering together for laughter and meals or enjoying time at "the shop" with his brothers and cousins. Ricky's ability to provide comfort and strength will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Elena Hinojos, and his cherished grandparents, Guillerma and Alberto Hinojos. Ricky is survived by his daughters, Breonda Hinojos, Hailey Hinojos and His Son, Brendan Hinojos as well as his brothers: Benjamin (wife Rosenda), Arturo (wife Carmen), Salvador (wife Ermelinda), Efren (wife Griselda), and Jovenal (wife Terrie). He is also remembered by his sisters: Ofelia Alvarado, Rosa Medrano (husband Luis), and Soyla Hinojos, along with his adored grand daughter, Tatum Lee, and many cousins who held a special place in his heart.

To honor Ricky's life, a viewing will take place on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Pecos Funeral Home from 1:00pm to 9:00pm with Rosary to be held also on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 10:00am at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church. He will be laid to rest on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Greenwood Cemetery. Those who wish to pay their respects are invited to join family and friends as we come together to celebrate his remarkable life.

Pallbearers will include Julian Adame, Ismael Alvarado, David Hinojos, Isaac Hinojos, EfrenRay Hinojos, and Louise Valencia.

Though words can only capture a glimpse of the love Ricky shared, we will carry his spirit and the warmth of his memory in our hearts forever. His legacy lives on in the tenderness he bestowed and the lasting imprint he leaves behind.
