Lori Ann Contreras, age 47 of Odessa, TX passed away on November 14, 2018 in Odessa, TX.
Visitation will be from 1:00pm-9:00pm, November 18th at Pecos Funeral Home in Pecos, TX.
Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 9:00pm, on November 19th at Christ The King Catholic Church in Balmorhea, TX.
Rosary will be at 6:30pm on November 19th at Christ The King Catholic Church in Balmorhea.
Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 20th at 10:00am at Christ The King Catholic Church in Balmorhea. Burial will follow at Balmorhea Cemetery.
Lori was born in Pecos, TX to Manuel and Guadalupe Roman on March 21st, 1971 and went to school in Balmorhea. She married Jody Contreras on September 21, 1996 in Balmorhea. She worked as a social worker for 20 years and was secretary for the Princess Aaralyn Foundation, a cause she held dear to her heart.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Guadalupe Roman, brother Manuel (Boy) Roman, Jr., sister Sylvia Roman, niece Aaralyn Rodriguez, paternal grandparents Manuel and Gregoria Roman, and maternal grandparents Cresencio and Conrada Jasso.
Lori is survived by her husband Jody Contreras of Odessa, son Diego Contreras of Odessa, sisters Olga (Alex) Matta of Odessa, Beatrice (Albert) De Los Santos of Hobbs, Amanda Roman of Austin, Mary Alice (Pat) Brijalba of Balmorhea, brothers John Paul Roman of Las Cruses, Eddie (Sylvia) Roman of Balmorhea, and Norman (Diana) Roman of Balmorhea.
Pallbears Diego Contreras, Norman Roman, John Paul Roman, Ryan Mendoza, Adam Roman, Michael Contreras, AJ De Los Santos, Mark Campos and John Roman.
The family of Lori wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Stan and Judy Piper, friends and family that have been there through her long journey.
