Lorenzo Rodriguez, lovingly known as Larry to his friends and family, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, March 13, 2026. He was 71 years old.
Larry was born on September 21, 1954, in Pecos, Texas. Throughout his life he was known for his strong work ethic, steady character, and deep devotion to his family. He spent his life working hard and providing for those he loved, always placing family at the center of everything he did.
Above all, Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He shared 55 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, his wife Annalee Rodriguez, building a life together filled with dedication, laughter, and unwavering support.
After retiring from Grady’s Supply Company, where he worked for ten years, Larry embraced the simple things that brought him the most joy. He loved being outdoors, spending time working in the yard, and enjoying peaceful moments outside. He also enjoyed listening to music and, most of all, spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Family meant everything to Larry. Whether during holidays, family gatherings, or quiet everyday visits, he treasured every moment spent with those he loved.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Catarino and Bella Rodriguez, and his brothers, Efren and Sammy Rodriguez.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Annalee Rodriguez; his children Larry Rodriguez and his wife Gilda, Adam Rodriguez and his wife Laura, and Valerie Dominguez and her husband Peter. He was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and a loving great-grandfather to three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Rachel Ortiz and her husband Felix, and his brother Gilbert Rodriguez and his wife Norma, who, along with his children and grandchildren, will carry forward his memory and love.
Larry will be remembered for his quiet strength, his deep love for his family, his appreciation for life’s simple moments, and for the remarkable head of hair that never went unnoticed. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished and in the many memories they will carry with them.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
