Leticia (Lety) Tarin Frazor, age 83, of Balmorhea, TX, passed away on June 25, 2026 in Sunnyvale, Texas.

Leticia Frazor was born in La Magdalena, Balleza, Chihuahua to Raul and Moncerrat Tarin on March 29, 1943. In 1973, she immigrated to Balmorhea, Texas where she later married her beloved husband, Louis Frazor in 1994. They spent many happy years together until his death in 2007. Lety was an inspiration to those who knew her. Despite her physical disability and her inability to verbalize words, she had immeasurable grit and determination doing what a person does with two hands, with her one–cooking, cleaning, tying her shoes, even painting her fingernails! She was a friend to all and had friends all over town. She loved her family deeply, cooking for them always and serving her delicious cinnamon iced tea. She also loved going for walks and tending to her outdoor flowers and plants. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and loved attending church services and the potlucks!

Leticia Frazor is preceded in death by her late husband, Louis Frazor; her parents, Raul and Moncerat Tarin; brothers, Ramon Tarin and Chano Tarin; sister, Mary Tarin Janks; nephews, John Tarin, Joseph Tarin, Rene Navarrette, Ross Navarrette; and, niece, Patsy Tarin.

Leticia Frazor is survived by her brothers Herman Tarin (Diana) of Balmorhea, TX, Victor Tarin (Rachel) of Pecos, TX; sisters, Edmunda Gutierrez (late Rodrigo) of Belleza, Chih, MX, Simona Navarrette (Rosendo) of Irving, TX, Teri Barragan (Jimmy) of Balmorhea, TX, Luz Maria LaRochelle (Albert) of Mico, TX, nephew Fito Tarin (Rebecca Ferguson) of Sunnyvale, TX, and many other nieces and nephews whom she loved.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Saragosa, TX with her nephew, Dr. James Tarin officiating. Burial will follow at Balmorhea Cemetery in Balmorhea, TX. Arrangements are being handled by Pecos Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers are Ligo Gutierrez, Gerardo Gutierrez, Nechín Gutierrez, Ramon Gutierrez, Danny Tarin, Moatze Hadad, Chris Barragan, Levon Barragan, Doane Tarin, Aaron Tarin, Kevin Tarin, Jose Ramon Tarin, Justin Tarin, Joshua Tarin, Jimmy Barragan, Alvaro Alvarez and Rosendo Navarrette.

Donations may be given to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Saragosa, TX in her memory. Leticia’s family would like to sincerely thank Fito Tarin and Rebecca Ferguson for all the love and care they gave Lety until the Lord called her home.
