Juliet Ybarra Gonzalez, age 66, of Pecos, TX, passed away peacefully on April 20th,2026, in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Funeral services will be held at 10am on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Santa Rosa Catholic de Lima Catholic Church, located at 620 E. 4th Street, Pecos TX 79772. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Pecos Funeral Home.
Juliet Ybarra Gonzales was born in Pecos, TX, and lived in Anthony, New Mexico. She was born to Romeo and Sulema “Sue” Ybarra on October 18, 1959. She married Pedro “Pilo” Gonzalez in November 2, 1997. She graduated from Las Cruces High and went on to get her accounting degree in El Paso, TX and master’s in business administration at Las Cruces NM. Juliet always loved numbers, she worked for Hewitt Jackson for 10 years and as a Medical Assistant for 30 years. She loved to sit and do her cross-word puzzles and loved to cook for family and friends. She was an amazing daughter, sister, mother and wife. We will miss her dearly.
Juliet is preceded in death by her father Romeo Machuca Ybarra, brother Edward “Eddie” Francis Ybarra, granddaughter D’angela Porras, both Paternal and maternal grandparents and many other family members.
Juliet is survived by her husband Pedro “Pilo” Gonzalez from Anthony NM, son Heriverto Y. Anguiano from Las Cruces NM, daughter Maribel A. Porras from Anthony NM, and grandchildren Romeo Anguiano, Destiny Anguiano, from Montana and Roxas D. Aguero, Ayleen L. Aguero from Anthony NM. She is also survived by her mother Sulema F. Ybarra from Austin TX, three sisters; Romelia Edwards of Austin, TX, Faye Camacho of El Paso, TX and Margaret Lozoya of Austin TX, and one brother James Ybarra of Austin TX.
Pallbearers for the service will be Romeo Anguiano, Destiny Anguiano, Roxas Aguero and Ayleen Aguero.
