Julian Fuentez

Julian "Pipi" Fuentez, of Balmorhea, passed away on October 17, 2018 in Odessa, Texas. Mr. Fuentez was born in Big Spring, Texas to the late Rosa Castillo and Julian Fuentez on October 28, 1959. He attended school in Balmorhea, Texas and was married to Norma Fuentez. Julian worked for the Texas Department of Transportation in Balmorhea.
Visitation will be at Pecos Funeral Home, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, October 21, 2018 and from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, October 22, 2018 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Balmorhea. Rosary will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Balmorhea at 7:30 PM.
Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, in Balmorhea at 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Burial will follow at Balmorhea Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Pecos Funeral Home.
Mr. Fuentez is preceded in death by his parents Rosa Castillo and Julian Fuentez, a brother, Ismael Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife Norma Fuentez, a son Rodney Fuentez, brothers - Joe Nunez and David Mata, his sisters -Elvira Mata and Virginia Olivas and his grandchildren whom he loved so much: Arianna Fuentez, Jaden Fuentez, and Isaac Fuentez.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Dutchover, Arnulfo Vasquez, Jimmy Scripps, Ramon Dutchover, George Lujan, Carlos Lara, Rubino Guebara, and Lupe Lujan .
The family of Julian Fuentez would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who has kept the family in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
