Julian G Baeza 92 of Balmorhea TX passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, in Odessa, TX at his daughter Maria Belia’s home in Hospice Care.
Rosary viewing will be held at the Pecos funeral home on 607 W. 3rd St, Pecos, TX 79772 on Thursday April 16, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 17, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Pecos funeral home with Pastor “Pepe” officiating. Burial will follow at the Balmorhea cemetery in Balmorhea, TX.
Arrangements are by the Pecos funeral home.
Julian was born in Pilares, Chihuahua Mexico to Cleofas Baeza and Paula Garcia on January 9, 1934. He married Angela Lujan Baeza on January 30, 1960, in Pilares Mexico. He worked in Agriculture most of his life and loved visiting Mexico with his wife in the earlier years of their marriage. After settling in Balmorhea, TX Julian and his wife Angela (Anjelita) loved spending time at the Balmorhea Lake with small dogs they would adopt year after year. He loved his time of solitude in his red truck. As a child of Christ, he devoted his time listening to scripture and reading his bible alongside his wife in their home in Balmorhea. During his final years he was so happy to reunite with his older sister for her birthday after years of being busy with family life. He was patient and kind to all animals and loved his grandchildren.
Julian is preceded in death by his siblings: Domingo Baeza, Rito Baeza, Cleofas Jr., his sisters Cecilia, Suzanna, Maria, and Manuelita Baeza.
He is survived by his wife Angela Lujan Baeza, Children: Usbaldo and Manela Baeza, Maria Belia and Rosendo Torres, Armet Baeza, Jose Luis and Anjelica Baeza, Elsa Hortencia and Chito DeAnda, Julian Jr Baeza, Rosalinda and Joe, and Lori Baeza. His sister Ernesta Garcia of Alpine, TX and many Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rosendo Torres Jr., Usbaldo Baeza Jr., Joseph Torres, Matthew Corrales, Joshua Baeza, Diego Baeza, and Jose Luis Baeza Jr.
Memorials may be given to Pecos funeral home
The family of Julian Baeza wishes to extend their sincere thanks to extended family who visited him while his stay in medical care with family in Odessa, rehabilitation providers, nurses, and prayers sent while in Hospice.
